Anybody know anything about, or have dealings with this Dr. Stephens? He is evidently of the Dr. John Plunkett, "short falls can kill a kid/ there is no Shaken Baby Syndrome" ilk.

Dear Lisa Tanner,

The opinion of bigmike could not be more incorrect.

As stated by GEORGE L. HASTINGS, Jr., Special Master, in his ruling in O'DELL v. SECRETARY OF DEPT. OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES, 1991 WL 123581 (Cl.Ct., 1991), "Indeed, I am inclined to believe that Drs. Grant and Stephens, on retainer to the firm of petitioner's counsel, were simply ready to manufacture a theory for Michael's death by a specious analysis of the slides of his kidney, when in fact those slides indicated a normal kidney."

Also, ask Pete for his curriculum vitae, and if you get the chance to cross-examine him, have some fun asking about his paper about "concrete enemas".
