Should payments be filtered through the County Clerk? Are there any regulations on if the Cashier's Checks/Money Orders being deposited into a certain account?? I have read the regulations on the Hot Check Fund, does that apply to the restitution as well?? Currently, we are not filing the criminal case, but collecting restitution and issuing dismissals once the restitution has been paid in full, essentially like a PTD?
