Is anyone seeing a higher average BAC on DWI cases in general? We (as well as state-wide) had been seeing an average of 0.17. Our average so far this year is 0.19.

Just yesterday - I received 6 lab reports (blood):
0.22, 0.27, 0.28, 0.35, 0.38 and 0.41!

What gives?

One thought: perhaps the message is actually reaching those drivers who might be borderline that it's better just not to take the chance behind the wheel. It's the alcoholics or really drunk folks out there who don't get it yet.

I seem to think the blood draws are happening faster than the old breath tests.
