A few online newspapers are starting to require paid subscriptions for access. NY Times and Dallas Morning News are the latest.

So far, that means they are scratched off my bookmarks. Will this spread? Will people actually pay for internet access to news? And will TDCAA start making millions by charging access to all the defense lawyers and bloggers who stalk this site?

Well, I might pay for the New York Times. They may be completely biased against us, but they are competently biased. Like NPR was for a few years. The Morning News is laughable junk.

I'm with QM. I'll be paying for the Times.
