I’m reviewing our felony intake procedure and wanted to compare it with other counties and make sure we are following best practices. I’m hoping to collect different office policies (manuals/guidelines), forms, and general suggestions.

All things being equal, my goal is to improve the quality of the cases we are accepting and more easily identify investigations that are not complete.

Thank you

Using the information in the offense report manual published by TDCAA would be a good starting point as to what should be submitted in an investigative case file and what your office requires be submitted. http://www.tdcaa.com/publicati...e-report-manual-2015
