pkdyer32.51 under 2010 penal code
The way I read this is that one must use of name and one other identifying feature such as date of birth, license number or SSN to be convicted under 32.51. Does using a false name only to pawn something when the rest of the identifying information is correct equal an offense. (Pawn shop worker used false name in scheme with person pawning stolen items)

John A. StrideEven the amended statute does not help you unless you have a name plus DOB, OR SSN OR similar gov't ID #. The SSN or similar gov't ID are enough alone.

pkdyerThat is the way we read it to be - just hoping since the pawn shop worker and the thief were apparently working together in a scheme to pawn stolen items using a false name (but a real person's name)
