Woman strangled by electronic massager

FORT LAUDERDALE A woman was fatally strangled in her Parkland home on Christmas Eve by an electronic massager that got ensnared in her necklace, according to the Broward Sheriff's Office. Michelle Ferrari-Gegerson, 37, had used the massager to relieve neck pain, said a report released by the sheriff's office. Officials didn't give the massager's brand. In 2008, Matoba Electric Manufacturing Co. recalled an electronic foot massager after three cases of women in Japan strangling themselves accidentally while using it as a neck massager.
