"Given its inanity, those demanding perfection exclusively for the death penalty are again dishonest because this is really a thinly disguised attempt to require its abolition for all convicted murderers, no matter how heinous or numerous their crimes and how overwhelming the proof of guilt. The protection of such murderers is the true objective."

I strongly prefer for the criminal justice system choose to bury the violent offenders, rather than loose those offenders so they may choose whom to bury.

Another dishonest anti-DP argument is that the death penalty is too expensive compared to LWOP.

The only reason it is more expensive is all the extra due process protections that help minimize the chance of executing an innocent person.

So the spirit of this particular anti-DP argument is "if we don't kill him, we can save a bunch of money by being less concerned with whether he is actually guilty."
