Can a Judge in one district issue an order for a tracking device for a suspect in another district when that person is the subject of an ongoing investigation in the issuing district or does that installation order have to come from the county where the suspect is located? Is this statute a limitation on the statewide power of a district judge or am I reading it too narrowly?
