Def, a regular local nuisance, runs from police in his car and is apprehended, remarkably, without wrecking the car. Def was disfigured in an accident years ago and now at age 20 has a sizable trust fund. Title is held in name of bank's trust department and bank has filed an answer. Some guidance as to how to proceed would be vastly appreciated. I DO NOT have a civil background or much experience in civil/forfeiture. HELP!!!

We haven't been forfeiting vehicles in evading cases. Guess we should.Talk to one of your local civil attorney friends and get them to send you the discover forms and hit the bank with them. They will hate to handle the paperwork. If you can show them how they are putting the bank's assets in harms way by carrying the title to the car this idiot is driving they may walk away.
