I have a defendant who is proposing to do 10 months SJF of a 24 month SJF sentence, and then probate the remainder under the new section of 42.12 created last legislative session. I don't think we've done anything with that section since it was created. Has anyone else? What were your experiences? Do you have a judgment with appropriate language you could share?

Correction, this was changed in the 2013 legislative session. Still, we haven't touched it yet to my knowledge.
