One of the PDs has an antique gun that they took from some old guy 15 or 20 years ago. A Chapter 59 was never filed. The PD held it as evidence. The criminal case is long over. The PD would rather not destroy it because it's really old and may have some kind of historical value. Is there a way to donate it to some museum, instead of destroy it?

I'm just starting to research this issue today. I think there's something in chapter 18, but I'm not sure if it applies.

Thanks in advance.
