Does anyone know if a County Judge can find a commissioner in direct contempt for cursing at another commission during a called meeting? Further, does the finding have to be immediate or can some time lapse?
Any advice is appreciated.

It is the commissioners court, not the county judge, that holds the contempt power for contempt of commissioners court. LGC 82.023 81.023.

(Thank you for the correction!)

Above is correct, except it's Chapter 81.

Sec. 81.023. CONTEMPT. The commissioners court shall punish a person held in contempt by a fine of not more than $25 or by confinement for not more than 24 hours. A person fined under this section may be confined until the fine is paid.

Has anyone ever been part of it?

What is the standard of review? And does it have to be direct civil or criminal comptempt?
