I am leasing a home, which was advertised as 2,506 square feet. I wrote them a letter shortly after I moved in explaining that the home was much smaller and I had to rent storage space to store a big portion of my home content. They told me it was AS IS when I signed the lease and it was my problem, can they do that? The DCAD came out and reappraised the home as 2,106 square foot. Has anyone experienced anything like this before?
