So, we seized a few lots of land and got it awarded to the municipality. They now want to sell it. Their question is: does the money from the sale have to go into the usual asset forfeiture fund or can it go into general city police funds?

It would seem to me that the sale proceeds go by way of all the other money (either seized money or money from sales of cars).

Is that right?
