Any of you CAs out there in small counties have policies for maternity leave for sheriff's deputies? This is a first for my county.

I don't guess I'm clear on this. By policy, you mean something more defining than a simple FMLA leave or use of sick time? I'd think it would be treated like any other medical leave - based on a doctor's recommendation or an unreasonable accommodation request. What am I missing (because I probably need to revise that in my policy manual, too, since I'm unclear).
