manslaughter crash reconstructionist
Has anyone used a crash scene reconstructionist for an involuntary or intoxicated manslaughter? I've got a defendant who drove 150 mph, ran into the back of a van, killed the 16 yr old driver, the back seat 20 yr old wtih fetus. I want to show there was nothing mechanically wrong with defendant's vehicle.

We've used Tim Lovett and the people over at Crash Dynamics in a number of cases involving crashes and fatalities. As a general rule, the earlier they can get involved the better in terms of assisting you in analyzing the ECM modules / black boxes on the vehicles involved in the accident.
