Does anyone know anything about this guy? He's been designated as an expert in an upcoming DWI trial. He's a former Dallas PD officer. Any info would be appreciated!!

He's a graduate of the Walden and Platt SFST classes and claims to be certified by NHTSA. The only problem with that is NHTSA doesn't certify folks. They leave that to the individual states. He is not certifed by TCLEOSE to teach SFST.

He will use some of the original SFST studies and revalidation studies as treatise material during his testimony. He will quote inaccurate stats on the reliability of HGN. He will claim that all roadways have some angle of incline, therefore that makes the WAT and OLS tests invalid.
