Just a heads up. The Fort Worth Court held today that extraneous offenses are not admissible at disposition. In the matter of C.J.M. No. 2-04-250-CV

That bites. 51.17 does indicate that the TRE applies and Ch. 38 applies but nothing about Ch. 37. I know its early but any chance this is going up further ?

Anyone else see the juvi certification case in Dallas that was thrown out of adult court because a jury Eek was not used in the certification process. What is going on in North East Texas ?!
