Is a no contest plea permissible in a juvenile case?

In a juvenile adjudication the plea is true or not true. Since it is not a conviction, I would say no.

If the case is one that would be appropriate for deferred then the juvenile does not have to say either way. Sometimes I will be prosecuting a juvenile case where the nature of the offense and the circumstances of the juvenile are not appropriate in my opinion for a 3-6 month deferred, but if the Court approves the deferred then you have 6 months with a one time 6 month extension if needed. I wouuld be happy to send you my deferred forms. Just email me and I will send them to you.
