Parent of 13 yr. old sexual assault victim requests all information from CA. Govt. Code 552.101 encompasses FC 58.007 and 261.201. 58.007(c) seems to deny all records to parent (except medical records under MPA), but 261.201(k) contradicts with respect to giving victim's information to victim's parent after proper redaction. Does 262 specificity override 58 generality?

I believe that 261 refers to CPS records and 58.007 pertains to juvi court/DA/probation records.

You also have the option to make a motion to the court to release info to your victim parents as an interested party.
