Word limits in habeas memoranda now, that's a nice change. I had a 500-page one filed. That was brutal to get through.

Most I had was 867. It was bound (well, hard cover with brads) and in two volumes.

CCA now shows live on efile.txcourts.gov and they have promulgated a rule for paper copies of efilings. http://www.cca.courts.state.tx...9.3_Copies_Order.pdf

Seems like it would make more sense if the rule said:

Any judge requiring a hard copy shall come down to the clerk's office and pay for the copies to be printed out.
