We're having some issues with our officers making errors on the sworn affidavit/complaints they send us that we use for filing misdemeanor information's. Sometimes the errors are minor like dates and clerical issues. But other times it's more severe like not alleging all the elements of the offense.

Are there any steps we should be taking? Is simply getting it right on the information enough?
