Is it necessary to get the Exhumation Order AND a Search Warrant?

Also, anyone with experience in exhuming a child's body and prosecuting a parent for the murder please chime in with your wisdom on the how-to's. In my case, the father is accused of shooting his eight yr old son on a hunting trip--no autopsy performed---and strong reason to believe it was not an accident. Death occurred in 1984 (two weeks before new DA took office).
