Martin PetersonParole Revocation-Stacked Sentence
It has been my understanding that upon revocation of one's parole, you will not again be considered eligible for release for a period of one year. Possibly that varies according to the offense. Can anyone confirm my assumption? The question remains, when does the one year start, upon execution of the blue warrant or upon return to prison? This seems important in determining the length of a stacked sentence to recommend (for a new felony committed while on parole), since the defendant gets credit nonetheless for time incarcerated prior to sentencing.
