Randal Leesearch warrant
I have some out of state officers who have appeared on my doorstep (not literally). It seems they want dna from a suspect that lives in my county for a crime in their state. I assume there is no problem. I am preparing the warrant. Anyone see a problem

Clay A.Shouldn't be a problem. Make sure it is a mere evidence warrant.

P.D. RayI had an investigator tell me that they only used 'near evidence' warrants when they were lookin' for really small stuff.

BLeonardWe had some detectives from Ohio on a similar mission a few years ago. I had them give their info to an investigator who, as the afffiant, wrote a "Texas" warrant.
