Pursuant to HB 1068 (eff. 9-1-05), TDCAA must provide the Governor's office with a list of 10 names from which the Governor shall select one prosecutor to serve as a member of the new Texas Forensic Science Commission. If you or a member of your office is interested in pursuing this appointment, please contact me ASAP. Traditionally such appointments have gone to elected prosecutors, but assistants may be eligible for consideration as well.
