Judge Allen received a decision in his case on the same day as CJ Gray. He got a reprimand rather than an admonishment. The Florida JQC ruling was much more comprehensive and therefore informative than the one in CJ Gray's case.
Recommendations. The First Amendment nor the need for judicial independence provided a defense for Allen.
Florida Supreme Court. The FSC also relied upon the proliferation of public comment as a reason for action.

JASToo bad it all went so far. I suspect the CJ is very lonely in that courthouse.
