The trial court clerk often comes to our office with questions regarding eligibility for time credits. Does anyone have a good cheat sheet we can share with them for determining these questions. This is the sort of thing that would be handy to have on a laminated card for quick reference.

Get her a copy of The Perfect Plea. Pages 45-46 cover those issues.

In our office, the support personnel who work with the prosecutor figure out the credit and announce it at the time of sentencing. An even better practice is to include it on the plea papers.
