Some of our Texas State Parks are plagued by visitors who illegally dig for Indian artifacts.

The Antiquities Code contains somewhat heavier penalties than the park regulations.

Does anyone here have experience prosecuting cases under the Antiquities Code? If so, I would appreciate tips on how to investigate these cases and get them successfully prosecuted.

I might have played on some of those antiquities when they were new.

P.S. it ticks me off that my birth certificate has qualified as an "ancient document" for a good number of years now.
