We need public service spots saying that confessions are good. The cliche would be, "Confession is good for the soul."

What would you suggest?

That's cool, John. The ads (forget the Motorola commercials for now -- I've totally gotten off that subj) could offer a free book: "Chicken Soup for the Dirt Bag's Soul" -- of course there's already a book out there for that....

How about, "Tell it like it is," with Aaron Neville providing the soundtrack?

Perhaps Nike would like to get in on this with a scene of a cop interrogating the perp. The cop moves in close to the perp, puts a reassuring hand on the perp's shoulder, the camera drops to the perp's shoes, showing he has Nike, and then we hear an Andy Siffowitz voiceover, saying, "Just do it."
