Have a case that I need to bounce off of some of you experienced prosecutors involving a co defendant X awaitng trial with some grand jury testimony that would be exclupatory for another codefendant Y if he( X) were to testify the same way during the trial of Y.Not to worry both are very guilty...X just hoped he could con the grand jury. Also can a Defendant who has been convicted plead the 5th if he is appealing his conviction???
