Jane Podesta with "People Magazine" is extremely interested in talking to any prosecutor who knows of cases where a violent murderer and/or rapist has served their time in prison only to be released and murder or rape again. She needs this information as soon as possible. "People Magazine" is considering a feature article on this problem.

She has mentioned the David Maust case in Indiana, and the Alfonso Rodriguez case. However, she would like to know about as many of these cases as possible by next Tuesday afternoon (1/20/04). You can contact her at:
