January 27, 2005 9:40 PM EST
GLENDALE, Calif. - A suicidal man who allegedly parked his SUV in the path of a commuter train and triggered a horrific wreck that killed 11 people was charged with murder and could face the death penalty, authorities said Thursday.
OK. So guy chickens out of suicide but causes death of others. State must protect the sanctity of those lives by executing defendant, who wanted to die in the first place.
This is why I stay in criminal law. Lawyers with civil firms never go home and wonder about this stuff.
