The defense is calling Edward Philip (Phil) Travers to testify I guess that "she had to rob the dope dealer so she could get money to bond her woman beatin' husband out of jail" due to the fact that she is suffering from BWS. Has anyone run across this other than what is already posted or run across him as a witness?

I haven't run across this expert, but the key would be to any BWS defense is are there any reports, medical records, 911 calls, or documentation of prior abuse, or is it just "she says she's being abused." Sounds more like they're trying for a duress defense. Generally, too, these BWS "experts" have a bias that will show easily when they testify.
