Drug Effects
Does anyone have a good source on the effects of drugs? I'm looking for effects of cocaine, meth, marihuana.

But also things like vicodin, soma, seroquel, etc.

There used to be a website where users would self report their experiments. Facinating reading. I can't seem to find it today, but I'll see if I can drudge that up too.

On a realted topic, I have most of the above already bookmarked, but does anyone know of any resources (especially more legitimate / medical / scientific) on the effects of shrooms, peyote, and other, more organic abused drugs?

Thanks in advance.

Try www.streetdrugs.org

There's a law enforcement section there that describes a great deal of different substances. I have a booklet or two (on club drugs) purchased from that website. It's high quality and straightforward.

You might start here: http://www.streetdrugs.org/tryptamines.htm

Follow their resources for futher info on Psilocybin or psilocyn mushrooms.

Thanks for the site. Also, just saw that DEA has some information on a variety of substances, at the following URLs:

www.deadiversion.usdoj.gov/drugs_concern/index.html
and
www.dea.gov/concern/concern.htm

Gordon,

If you have a DRE in your area, he will have a tremendous amount of training and experience dealing with persons who are under the influence. If you don't know a DRE, call or email our state coordinator and she can give you the name of one that is close to you.
