Kate SquiresExtraneous Child Sexual Abuse
Hello--- I am curious as to how other counties handle their Article 38.37 hearings. I am trying to introduce evidence of other victims to the jury. Some of the evidence I would like to introduce involves a separate victim of the same defendant. That case of sexual abuse against a child was no-billed several years ago. Anyone have experience arguing that despite a no-bill, a Judge could still rule the evidence could support a jury finding that it occurred beyond a reasonable doubt? Thanks in advance for the help!
