The defense has hired an expert in a child abuse case who they knew would not be available to come to trial for he refuses to testify out of his state. The defesne is asking that he testify via close circuit tv. I have problems with this. Has anyone had a judge allow this kind of expert testimony. Does the state have a right to confront witnesses?
