A.P. MerillatStill dangerous (future and otherwise)
More of what the defense will not want your capital jury to hear:
In keeping with its own violent history for at least the last 24 years, there have been 2 more killings committed within the fences and walls of the Texas prison system. So, from 1984 through today, May 22, 2008, there has never been a year without at least one homicide inside the prison.
The latest murder happens to involve two convicted murderers (the suspect pled guilty 18 years ago for life - what's that tell you about his crime?). The victim and his killer were living in the dorm and classified as G-2, which most defense experts in capital cases will try to completely avoid talking about.
FYI. Please make sure the hired-gun former warden who spews bad information for a hefty fee sees this. Have her call me and I'll fill her in on all the details.
Exit only.

Greg DavisA.P., thanks for reminding us that prison is a violent place populated by violent people who have little regard for the rules of a civilized society.
