John StrideTaking advocacy too personally
Unfortunately, it is not the first or last time that one of our own (an ex-prosecutor) has taken advocacy too far. When words failed, the attorney shot his opposing counsel. And they were practicing "civil" law!

John StrideYou make a salient point about the delay in returning the verdict. The homemade silencer, bulletproof vest, and the fake beard are condemning facts. Do these facts also constitute "exceptional factors" for punishment purposes? Seems they should!

GGJust goes to show there is certainly nothing civil about the practice of civil law, some of whom regard us as some sort of lower rung tawdry lawyers based upon our "customers".
