If vehicle registration from another state is expired, is the offense expired registration or operating an unregistered motor vehicle? I would think "expired registration" would only apply to TX registration. Since we do not enforce other states laws, a vehicle not CURRENTLY registered in another state would be unregistered in Texas. Minor detail, but it's becoming an issue on larger cases when it was the basis for the stop. Thank you
