Everyone should be reading Justice Yeary's concurring opinion in Faust/Marroquin.
Opinion. He makes a strong case for submission to authority as the only choice that makes sense in most cases rather than trying to achieve "street justice" (which is really adjudication by push coming to shove). There seems to be little doubt that tempers are flying way too fast on both sides of the skirmish lines far too often these days. But, resisting the urge to resist could prove vitally important.
