JohnROther State's Laws
Normally, I'm quite happy that I almost always find answers in the decisions of our Texas courts. But, I do find the occasional treasure from cases outside my home state. Today, I found two in one opinion:
The Choice of Evils Defense: think justification ("One must always choose the lesser of two weevils, Stephen").
The Right/Wrong Standard of Review: think de novo review ("I'm right, you're wrong, nya nya!!??").
Thanks go out to the Supreme Court of the 50th State, Hawaii!
