Harris County ADA Connie Spence on a thirty-five year sentence for a man who starved and beat his stepson.

I was fortunate to work with Connie on a case a few years ago, and was very impressed by her professionalism.

Connie did a great job - but the kid didn't die.
They took him to the hospital before they managed to kill him. He's ok in foster care . . .

The mom pled guilty also and the court sentenced her to 20 years.
