Are medical record filed as a business record affadavit subject to crawford? I usually have one doctor testify to all the medicals in a case. I my case at hand, a guard was assaulted by an inmate and saw about four doctors for different things because of the assault, do I need to bring all of the doctors into court?

pkdyerYou might want to consider the posts under Melendez-Diaz on the forum -- don't know how to link it. Not sure how it would fit into your scenario, but I had a case that the victim's toxicology report was done by hospital, not ME and the court said it was error to allow it through ME's testimony. Long v. State, Eastland (8/20/09).
