Can anyone point me to authority (Tex. Govt. Code Ch. 411 or otherwise) for a prosecutor's office who seeks a civil DV protective order (Tex. Fam. Code 71, 81 et seq.) to run TCIC/NCIC criminal histories on the applicant and/or the respondent?
