Under this section "Penalty for Fraud or Intent to Evade Tax" it states that "Enforcement of this section shall be by a proceeding initiated by the district or county attorney... on behalf of the appraisal district" but nowhere can I find what kind of proceeding or in which court. Can anybody direct me to law that answers those questions? This is totally a new area for my office and we are stumped. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
