Does anyone have experience in attempting to forfeit a performance bond in a nuisance abatement suit? Our office obtained a permanent injunction on a motel property, owners posted a 10k bond on condition of no more drugs/prostitution - police say criminal activity continues. Civil Practice and Remedies Code 125.003 allows us to sue on the bond to close the place - has anyone done this before?
