I am trying to file an application for emergency detention under Chapter 462 of the Health and Safety Code for a chemically dependent person and I have no idea what I'm doing. Has anyone done this before? It looks like there are several ways you can do it. Immediately or a hearing within 14 days. I appreciate any help.
