I have a Texas Ranger who, at the request of his CA, is looking for an expert witness on use of force issues as well as when an off-duty officer is acting "under the color of law." I would appreciate any suggestions. The case involves an off-duty officer who apparently objected to some comments made to him by another club patron, so he "marched" the guy out of the club, and in the process, the guy ended up needing surgery to repair a broken bone.
